Working Principle

Designed for automatic flow control in confined spaces, the pneumatic knife gate stock valve is the solution of choice across the paper and pulp industry. The valve works by a one-piece stainless steel blade (plate) moving vertically inside the body under the control of the pneumatic actuator mounted on top.

When compressed air is supplied to the actuator, the piston in the cylinder drives the blade up or down; the blade cuts across the flow channel for full closure or full opening.
